May I be allowed to introduce you to Garland Group International, Igangan whose main focus is to give back to our community whatever talent(s) and empowerment we all, as members and supporters, arẹ̣̣̥ blessed with through such channels as random conduction of medical check-ups to aged and dependant group, disbursement of drugs and treatment of some patients with dire health challenges, organising seminars and awareness campaigns for youths on positive advancement modalities and approaches to meaningful life, conducting extra-murral classes for WAEC and JAMB candidates during long vacations in our community, etc.
The Group, which was formerly known as Garland Club Igangan, was born out of the quest to fill the vacuum being constantly created by the inefficiencies of those in charge of the welfare and well-being of all Igangan indigenes and even the larger populace in general. The marks being constantly created by those selected to determine the future of our dear community are those of retrogression, under-development, poverty, alienation, egocentricism, and after-effects of political bickerings and births of brigandages, hooliganism, armed robbery and the likes.
In all these, ours is a commitment to the helpless within the circle of all forms of oppression prevalent in this and other communities.
The ship of this laudable group and her Vision would not have set asail without the driving commitments of the following below:
